![]() Selection InterviewsKey decisions require objective and reliable insight and experience. When making key hiring decisions, we recommend including our Selection Interview as part of the assessment process. We supplement Selection Interviews with assessments to provide thorough and reliable recommendations on key hiring decisions. Selection Interviews Selection interviews are designed to predict behavior on the job, based on repeated evidence of past behavior. During selection interviews, the interviewer asks questions about how someone acted or reacted in past job-related situations. The philosophy behind this line of interviewing is that people are likely to repeat past behaviors when facing new situations. These 60-90 minute interviews are tailored for each client. What value will I receive? Selection interviews allow participants to reveal a great deal about themselves. This line of interviewing helps participants recognize how their behavior contributes to the present situation. We also explore how a different behavior could or should have created a better outcome. Results of the selection interview are provided in a written report and discussed with the talent management consultant. During the debrief, the consultant will provide counsel and recommendations. DecisionWise consultants have years of experience managing and coaching leaders. Their advice will prove valuable to you when making key decisions. Meet DecisionWise Coaches |
